“A LIFE FED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT”
Welcome to Our Evening of Inspiration
We are thrilled to invite you to an enriching and uplifting evening centered around the theme of the Holy Spirit. Join us for a night of reflection, community, and spiritual growth. Below are the details of the event.
We will commence the evening with a heartfelt prayer to set the tone for this spiritual gathering.
Our guest speaker, Sarah Kooistra, a respected member of the Church of the Assumption and the Bellingham business community, will share her inspiring testimony titled "Relying on the Holy Spirit in Times of Difficulty." Her insights and experiences promise to offer guidance and encouragement to all attendees.
Join us in song as we lift our voices in worship, celebrating our faith and the guiding presence of the Holy Spirit.
Participate in a creative crafting activity designed to symbolize and reinforce the evening's theme.
We will conclude with a prayer, thanking the Holy Spirit for guiding our lives and this gathering.
Light refreshments will be served throughout the evening to nourish body and spirit.
We are looking forward to sharing this special evening with you. Please feel free to bring a friend; all are welcome in our circle of faith and connection.
Warm regards,
The Women’s Connect Team

Life is Messy
Join us as we discuss faith, spirituality and clutter in our homes.
After food, prayer and singing we will have a video message and reflection with Bishop Barron and a special guest speaker from The Coordinated Home, a local business right here in Bellingham.
Hello, beloved friends!
Life is inherently messy, isn't it? We find ourselves navigating through the clutter of everyday existence—both physically and spiritually.
When our homes are disorganized, it often feels like our minds and hearts are in disarray too. This is where professional organizers, like our wonderful guest speaker today, step in. They help us tidy up our living spaces, creating an environment that brings peace and clarity.
But what about the clutter in our souls? That’s where we turn to our spiritual guides, like the esteemed Bishop Baron, whose wisdom can light our path. xox WC

“The Upper Room” with Mari Pablo
“The Upper Room” retreat with Mari Pablo in the Assumption gym on May 18 and 19, 2024 was a tremendous success. We heard Mari talk about evangelism - our great commission and the importance of small groups. With Partners in the Gospel coming into effect on July 1, small groups will be even more important if we are to stay connected to the body of Christ.
Mari has traveled across the continental United States, and Latin America speaking about the heart of Christ and the beauty of the Catholic faith. She speaks on a variety of themes and desires to meet the specific needs of your community.
Mari is a presenter for Ascension Press in numerous projects
