"Blessed Are The Poor In Spirit"

Women's Connect meeting at Sacred Heart Parish Hall in February 2026

Being poor in spirit is the foundation of spiritual growth. It invites surrender — not in weakness, but in trust.

It is the first step toward the kingdom of heaven, where dependence on God becomes the source of true strength and joy. In this poverty, one finds the richest treasure: a heart aligned with divine purpose and peace that surpasses understanding. When we love God and fear separation from Him, we are poor in spirit.

Join us as we journey into Lent for this insightful gathering as we explore what Matthew 5:3 truly means and how it can be applied to our everyday lives.

Join an evening of faith, fellowship, and creativity as the community gathers to hear the liturgy and a special presentation by Catholic Community Services. Doors open at 6 p.m., offering time to mix and mingle while enjoying a delicious snack buffet. The event will feature moments of prayer, uplifting singing, and hands-on crafting, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all who attend.

With warmest regards,

WC team
